Church Leaves Pro-Abortion Vandalism as ‘Example’ For Community

Charlie Kirk has exclusively obtained additional information and photographs about a Boulder, Colorado Catholic Church that has been vandalized with pro-abortion and pro-choice messages. The extensive damage was accompanied with anarchy symbols.

“The parish had a display of 4,000 small white crosses in its front lawn, each one representing a baby aborted each day in the United States. The vandals trampled and desecrated at least half of the crosses” CharlieKirk.Com was told exclusively. The below photographs were also provided.

As the abortion debate rages on across the United States from state legislators to the Supreme Court,  Boulder’s Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church has decided to turn the negative into a positive by leaving up the vile messages. The church wants to serve as an example to the community of what is happening across the country.

“I think at this point, we have decided to leave it up” said Mark Evevard, the youth minister to local FOX 31. “We think it’s important for people in the community to see there are people out there who are doing these things because we are not the only church. There’s been a number of churches vandalized. Not only Catholic churches, but other churches too” added Evevard.

Heart of Mary’s priest woke up from the sound of breaking glass around 3a.m. and believe vandals were scared off when he turned the outside lights on. The church does not yet have an estimate on the extent of the damage yet, “and will leave it untouched for now” reports Fox 31.

Evevard said the community has been very supportive and generous in its offers to help clean up the damage. One woman from another church stopped by to “help pick up crosses. She was not Catholic. She helped pick up the crosses, then came into the office to make a donation to help clean up the graffiti.”

“The community has been great, so I’m very encouraged by that. Sometimes it takes tragedies to bring people together,” Evevard said.
