Did AOC Really Have A Close Encounter at the Capitol on Jan 6th?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is facing harsh criticism over a video that she posted about the events that took place on Jan 6th, with many pointing out that she was not even in the Capitol building when the riot occurred.

The congresswoman posted a video in which she describes a Capitol Police officer bursting into her office and said his presence “didn’t feel right”. She went on to say that the officer “was looking at me with a tremendous amount of anger and hostility”.

Fox News reports:

The controversy erupted after the New York congresswoman posted a video in which she described a confrontation with Capitol Police at her office, which is located on the larger Capitol complex. But it is not in the Capitol itself — which includes the dome, the House, and the Senate — and was where many rioters stormed in and were seen breaking windows.

Her office is located in the Cannon building, which is accessible through underground tunnels connected to the Capitol as well as via a short stroll down a walkway and across the street. It was also one of the buildings where staff was told to evacuate after suspicious packages were found in the area. Law enforcement found pipe bombs and Molotov cocktails in the vicinity.

In response to the incident, the congresswoman said: “I did not know if I was going to make it to the end of that day alive.” She also accused Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, of almost having her “murdered,” touching on accusations that Cruz and others incited the attack through their rhetoric about the election.

Some critics have compared her story to that of Jussie Smollett who made accusations of being attacked by Trump supporters before his whole story fell apart.

AOC Receives Backlash For Selling $58 "Tax The Rich" Sweatshirt

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is selling a $58 Sweatshirt with the slogan “Tax the Rich” to which she received some harsh criticism online.

AOC made the black sweatshirts available for pre-order on Wednesday night saying they are “made in the US with dignified, union jobs paying living wages.”

Fox News reports:

“Selling a $58 sweatshirt to own the capitalists is the most AOC thing ever,” Eddie Zipperer, who teaches political science at Georgia Military College, wrote on Twitter.

“Hey AOC I can’t afford this sweatshirt [right now], you got a coupon code for the non-rich?” the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Mary Margaret Olohan wrote on Twitter.

Ocasio-Cortez was quick to hit back against the critics.

“Republicans are freaking out [because] we don’t use slave-wage labor for merch that funds grassroots organizing. But what’s the difference between Trump’s merch and ours? Ours is made in the US. ([and] for GOP who joke that we [should] give [shirts] for free, we actually do – just volunteer),” she wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

It’s always interesting to watch someone who supposedly went to school for economics completely misunderstand the basic workings of capitalism.

Ocasio-Cortez is Angry with Joe Manchin For Not Wanting to Defund The Police

In a Thursday tweet, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez expressed her disdain for West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin over his position of not wanting to defund the police.

It might be in Ocasio-Cortez’s best interest to watch the video below, where it showcases the disconnection of the NYC liberal elitest mentality who hate the police and the actual community of east Harlem who say they are very necessary and welcomed.

Daily Caller Reports:

With two Senate seats up for grabs and control of the chamber on the line in a January runoff in Georgia, Manchin this week has attempted to alleviate concerns that Democrats would be able to act on far-left proposals like stacking the Supreme Court, eliminating the Senate filibuster, the Green New Deal, and defunding the police by promising to be the deal-breaking vote in a 50/50 Senate.

Manchin reiterated those positions in an interview with The Washington Examiner, a link to which he tweeted out Wednesday along with a less than favorable statement about defund the police efforts.

Ocasio-Cortez, a vocal proponent of defunding police forces across the country, responded to Manchin’s tweet with a picture of her seemingly giving him the stink eye as he applauded President Donald Trump during a State of the Union address.

Malcolm X proclaimed:

“The white liberal is the worst enemy to America, and the worst enemy to the black man. The white liberal aren’t white people who are for independence, who are moral and ethical in their thinking. They are just a faction of white people that are jockeying for power. The liberal elements of whites are those who have perfected the art of selling themselves to the Negro as a friend of the Negro. Getting sympathy of the Negro, getting the allegiance of the Negro, and getting the mind of the Negro.

Then the Negro sides with the white liberal, and the white liberal use the Negro against the white conservative. So that anything that the Negro does is never for his own good, never for his own advancement, never for his own progress, he’s only a pawn in the hands of the white liberal.

The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros, and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that has perpetuated problems that Negros have.

If the Negro wasn’t taken, tricked, or deceived by the white liberal then Negros would get together and solve our own problems. I only cite these things to show you that in America the history of the white liberal has been nothing but a series of trickery designed to make Negros think that the white liberal was going to solve our problems. Our problems will never be solved by the white man.

Cortez’s talks of putting Trump people on a list is likened to a ruthless Communist dictator, a fringe mentality that you hope doesn’t spread beyond her squad and Antifa-like minded people.
