Democrats Have Secret Strategy To Defeat Trump In Republican Primary: Report

Charlie Hurt, a Fox News contributor and Washington Times opinion editor, believes that former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley is being pushed and promoted by Democrats for one reason.

That’s because they know they cannot defeat former President Donald Trump, Hurt told Sean Hannity this week.

“Certainly, every Republican is trying to keep this going and needs to be aware that the longer it keeps going, the longer we have this internal fight as opposed to Donald Trump turning his focus on fighting Joe Biden and getting Joe Biden out of the White House,” Hurt began during a show segment.

“I think it’s really interesting here. We saw the effort by Democrats. This is an old tactic that both parties have tried over the years, where you have Democratic savvy voters in Iowa participate in Republican caucuses trying to sow chaos in the other party. This is what is interesting. A lot of people have glossed over. Always when that happens, Democrats are trying to get the weakest candidate elected, which I think is really interesting here,” the Fox News contributor said.

“We will see it again in New Hampshire where Democrats play in the Republican primary or the Republican caucus in an effort to get the weakest candidate to get the nomination. In this case, that is Nikki Haley. I think it’s really interesting that Democrats seem to have a better grasp of the real truth here, which is Donald Trump is the most formidable candidate who could face Joe Biden in November. He could prosecute the case against Joe Biden better than anybody,” he said.

“Democrats are terrified of facing Donald Trump not only because it’s going to be four more years of Donald Trump, but also because they realize he’s the most formidable candidate. That is why they are trying to cross over and support Nikki Haley in the primary,” Hurt added.
