Dana Loesch, a nationally syndicated radio host who also has a show on The First streaming network, ripped into President Joe Biden over something he said about guns, calling it the “stupidest thing” yet she’s ever heard.

The former National Rifle Association spokeswoman and avid Second Amendment defender blasted Biden for claiming that adding a pistol brace device to a firearm would somehow change the caliber of the bullet.

In a speech over the weekend, Biden said, “Made it harder for people buy stabilized brief— braces. Put a pistol on a brace, it turns into a gun, makes it more, you can have a higher-caliber weapon, higher-caliber bullet coming out of that gun.”

Loesch tore into the president on Twitter: “This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard a politician say about guns. A plastic brace on a gun does not change the CALIBER OF THE GUN or the rate of fire.”

She wasn’t the only one to criticize Biden’s remark.

“I put a pistol on a brace, and when it turned into a gun with a higher-caliber, a higher-caliber bullet came out of that gun and made this hole in 26inch steel,” Twitter user @stevensongs joked.

“Oh my. This is elder abuse,” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) added.

“This makes NO sense. Is he okay?” former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee asked.

“Biden’s word salads are hilarious but make no mistake, this doddering old man is nothing more than a display of the Dems power,” retired Green Beret Joe Kent added. “The Dems don’t need a reason or legal standing to brand law abiding citizens felons, they don’t even need a charismatic leader, they have raw power.”

“According to Joe Biden, if you put ‘a pistol on a brace … it turns into a gun.’ Braces also magically change the caliber of that gun and allow different bullets to shoot out of it. This is one of the most insane things I have ever heard him say. Where are the fact checkers?!?” another tweeted.

A bill aimed at overturning Biden’s pistol-brace ban was passed by the Republican-led House this week. However, due to the Democrat-controlled Senate, the bill is expected to face obstacles and likely won’t go anywhere. Also, Biden had expressed his intention to veto the measure if it were to pass.
