Comer Warns of Contempt of Congress After Woke FBI's Continues to Protect Biden

House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer is standing up to Biden’s woke FBI, threatening to launch contempt of Congress proceedings if the bureau fails to comply with a subpoena related to a possible criminal scheme involving Biden during his time as vice president.

The Kentucky Republican demanded the FBI hand over a form that allegedly describes the scheme, with a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, Comer expressing disappointment in the FBI’s failure to provide the doc.

Comer’s letter set a deadline of May 30, and warned of potential contempt proceedings if the FBI fails to comply.

The document in question came to his attention after a whistleblower claimed that the FBI and Biden’s compromised Justice Department possessed it and that it would reveal details about the alleged criminal scheme.

Rather than comply with the simple request, the FBI cited the need to protect its confidential human source program.

Comer described two meetings between House Oversight Committee counsel and FBI staff, where the FBI refused to even acknowledge the existence of the form.

The bureau did not comply with the simple request. Comer criticized the FBI, calling its behavior unacceptable and accusing the bureau of obstruction.

In response to the FBI’s delay, Comer gave the bureau an additional six days to produce the FD-1023 form, providing specific terms to assist in identifying the document.

Comer added that the FBI’s continued unwillingness to work continues to show its political bias.

Senator Chuck Grassley, a Republican from Iowa, voiced his support for Comer’s actions, asserting that the FBI’s resistance to the subpoena damages its reputation further. Grassley stressed that he and Comer would obtain the requested document, one way or another, and urged the FBI to cooperate promptly.

The FBI did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for a comment.
