Charlie Kirk Rips RNC Over Lavish, Inappropriate Spending Under McDaniel

GOP voters who want to see the leader of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel, replaced due to her perceived ineffectiveness in helping the party win more elections just got another major vindication.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, citing in-depth and exclusive reporting by Jennifer Van Laar, the managing editor of Red State, called out McDaniel and the RNC she leads for extravagant spending on frivolous things instead of using more donor funds to increase GOP voter turnout.

In a tweet, he listed some of Van Laar’s findings, which were based on her obtaining RNC records.

I got an exclusive first look at @jenvanlaar‘s new report on the RNC’s lavish spending on limos, consultants, flowers, and office supplies while skimping on GOTV, data, and state parties,” he wrote before listing the line items in a tweet containing a clip of his interview with her:

Floral Arrangements:

RNC – $70,328.00
DNC – $795

Consultants:

RNC – $1,078,279.47
DNC – $114,000

Office Supplies:

RNC – $297,717.64
DNC – $45,005

Limousines:

RNC – $263,127.25
DNC – $7,000

Voter File Maintenance:

RNC – $39,233.50
DNC – $235,865.88

GOTV Texts:

RNC – $86,019
DNC -$1,676,923.29

State Outlays:

RNC – $13,800,200
DNC – $23,835,437

“That’s nearly 6,000 a month that they are spending on flowers. Meanwhile, the DNC is $795,” Kirk said during the segment.

“Let’s go to the next line item. The RNC spent 39 thousand on voter file maintenance. Something they should be spending on. Their counterparts, the DNC, spent 235 thousand dollars on voter file maintenance. Nearly 6 times more than the RNC. Why is the RNC spending so much on flowers and not as much on voter file maintenance?” he asked.
