Charlie Kirk Praises Successful Amfest After Record Ticket Sales

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk revealed that the AmericaFest event, despite it intentionally lacking Fox News personalities, set records in ticket sales.

Kirk noted the absence of Fox News figures, expressing his hope to heal the relationship, but mentioned that the event, featuring Roseanne Barr, Rob Schneider, and Patrick Bet-David, successfully innovated without Fox’s presence.

“And, man, what we pulled off. It’s not that I want credit, but we deserve it. I’ll be honest. Okay. Because we have Bannon to Gaetz to Don Jr. to a current NBA player who’s averaging 10 points a game … to Roseanne Barr, number one television program on network or cable forever. Rob Schneider, A-list comedian, right? PBD, one of the most successful entrepreneurs, best-selling guy and millions of social media followers. And then you still kind of get your red meat politics plus with 30 breakout trainings, Big & Rich country music, LoCash country music, RaeLynn country music so that’s special,” Kirk said according to The Post Millennial.

Kirk highlighted the redesign, focusing on culture and featuring diverse speakers like Steve Bannon, Matt Gaetz, Don Jr., and others. The rift between Turning Point and Fox reportedly emerged with Fox’s settlement with Dominion, leading to a distancing of talent from Turning Point.

Kirk emphasized the event’s success, attracting 13,000 attendees and showcasing a diverse audience. While expressing sadness about Donald Trump’s absence, Kirk saw the event’s size as a testament to the enduring strength of the conservative movement.

Turning Point USA aims to be recognized beyond a “right-wing” label and sees itself as a leading force in the conservative movement. Despite challenges with Fox News, Kirk believes the event’s success reflects the changing media landscape and the passionate, informed grassroots movement that Turning Point USA represents.

The organization acknowledges the evolving dynamics of news consumption and intends to continue its role in influencing the conservative narrative.
