CBS WH Correspondent Says he Felt Safer Reporting in North Korea than at White House

Unsurprisingly, Tracy is getting hammered on Twitter for his comments

After White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany tested positive for coronavirus today, CBS correspondent Ben Tracy made a rather dramatic proclamation: He felt safer while reporting in the totalitarian dictatorship of North Korea than he does currently reporting at the White House.

After posting multiple hysterical tweets about McEnany’s diagnosis and how she didn’t wear a mask while briefing reporters yesterday, Tracy wrote, “I felt safer reporting in North Korea than I currently do reporting at The White House. This is just crazy.”

McEnany announced earlier today that she had been diagnosed with coronavirus after testing negative every day since Thursday for the disease. She currently has no symptoms.

Fortunately for Tracy, McEnany also noted in her statement that no members of the press, reporters or producers were listed as close contacts by the White House Medical Unit.

“As an essential worker, I have worked diligently to provide needed information to the American people at this time,” she said. “With my recent positive test, I will begin the quarantine process and will continue working on behalf of the American people remotely.”

According to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), North Korea is listed as the second most censored country. The list is based on research into the country’s tactics, “tactics ranging from imprisonment and repressive laws to surveillance of journalists and restrictions on internet and social media access.”

In September 2017, two South Korean journalists and their publishers were sentenced to death in absentia in North Korea for “insulting the dignity of the country.”

“North Korea continues to be one of the most repressive countries in the world for journalists,” writes the CPJ.

Unsurprisingly, Tracy is getting hammered on Twitter for his comments. View some of the hilarious responses HERE.

EPIC: Trump Fans Take Over NYC’s Fifth Ave in Show of Support for POTUS

Over 100 vehicles rolled into Manhattan yesterday morning, halting traffic for at least 30 minutes as they drove by Trump Tower

Over 100 vehicles rolled into Manhattan yesterday morning, halting traffic for at least 30 minutes as they drove by Trump Tower in a show of support for President Donald Trump as he recovers from the coronavirus.

The drivers blasted their horns and waved flags while chanting “four more years!”

The group also stopped for a moment of silence to pray for the president, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 last week.

According to the New York Post, members of the group, “The Long Island Loud Majority” woke up around 4 a.m. yesterday to head to the city:

“I felt the love and energy today,” the 28-year-old Trump supporter from Farmingdale told The Post of the “prayer vigil” for POTUS and FLOTUS.

“Today the energy was electric. It was amazing — no chaos, no [middle] fingers, no drama, just supporting our president and our [men and women in] blue,” she said.

Hahnan said being at Trump Tower felt “sentimental” because “we were praying for him.”

“I’m praying for every single person in this world … including President Trump, the first lady and the whole administration,” she said.

“I pray that my country comes together because we are divided right now. We should be standing together praying for our president and our first lady. He is still a human being. He is 74 years old,” she said, noting how his age put him in the high-risk group for the disease.

Supporters have also been gathering outside of Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where President Trump is currently recovering from his diagnosis. The president has sent those supporters chocolates, pizza, and even did a drive-by yesterday to thank them for their support.

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said the president’s health continued to improve overnight and that he is “optimistic” President Trump will return to the White House later today.

“Spoke to the president this morning,” Meadows said. “He continued to improve overnight and is ready to get back to a normal working schedule.”

BUSTED: NYT Reporter Attacks Non-Mask Wearing Republicans, While Not Wearing A Mask

2020 has brought out a level of hypocrisy in liberals such that there needs to be an invention of another word that means “so much hypocrisy” that it makes regular hypocrisy look mild in comparison. Enter, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for the New York Times, Matthew Rosenberg. Rosenberg is also a CNN national security analyst who gained notoriety for his writings promoting the Russiagate hoax to the Trump-hating mainstream media.

In another attempt to bully Republicans and make conservatives look bad, Rosenberg’s efforts backfired. Tweeting from an event for a Republican, he posted a photo of a ‘Trump 2020’ pin alongside a ‘Vote Marjorie’ pin and wrote, “Souvenirs from a night spent packed into a room with Marjorie Taylor Greene and a crowd of her most devoted supporters in Dalton, GA. Masks very much optional – and unworn. As Taylor put it, she’s for ‘the unmasking of America.”

Forced to sit amongst the non-mask-wearing Republicans and Trump supporters who sat in front of a ‘God Bless Our Nation’ flag, Rosenberg expressed his contempt for their behavior. As he furthered the fear-mongering with his tweets, and his “sanctimonious display and attempts to smear Greene and her supporters” there he sat…NOT wearing a mask.

Photos from Green’s campaign account reveal Rosenberg sitting amongst the very crowd he chastises for not wearing a mask, while not wearing a mask. As The National Pulse reports, “The double-standard speaks to the mainstream media’s willingness to peddle blatant lies in an attempt to smear Trump-supporting Republicans” is exactly right.
