Brittany’s tossing of Balenciaga gear comes after the brand was lambasted for ad campaigns featuring children holding teddy bears dressed in bondage gear.

Other notables, however, have also been called out after refusing to condemn the brand, most notably Kim Kardashian, who promoted the brand.

“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” Kim Kardashian wrote in a statement shared on social media several days after the story broke.

“As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period,” she added.

“I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again,” the reality star continued. She went on to say she is “re-evaluating” her relationship with the brand.

“As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children,” she said.

But that was not good enough for many people.

“The Megyn Kelly Show” host said Kardashian shares blame for the company’s shameful ads because even after finding out about them, she has refused to fully distance herself from the brand that she has heavily promoted in the past.

“She’s a disgusting, shameful billionaire because the money is worth more than her morals and the protection of these children to her,” Kelly said earlier this week.

“Kim you don’t need the money from them. The red line has been crossed and as a mother of four and decent human being, you know that,” popular Twitter account Gays Against Groomers wrote.
