Biden Announces 2024 Reelection Amid Domestic Turmoil, Inflation, and Doubts That He'll Actually Run

President Joe Biden made a ‘soft’ announcement on Tuesday that he will run again for reelection next year amid calls from his voters in his own party not to do so and amid doubts from some political observers that he’ll actually go through with it.

Biden asked “voters to give him more time to ‘finish the job’ he began when he was sworn into office and to set aside their concerns about extending the run of America’s oldest president for another four years,” The Associated Press reported.

Despite the fact that he would be 86 years old at the conclusion of a potential second term, Biden is confident that his legislative accomplishments during his first term, combined with his over 50 years of experience in Washington, will outweigh any apprehensions regarding his age. While he is likely to secure his party’s nomination without encountering significant competition, he will undoubtedly face a difficult battle to maintain the presidency in a nation deeply divided, the report continued.

“I said we are in a battle for the soul of America, and we still are,” Biden said in a three-minute video. “The question we are facing is whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom. More rights or fewer.

“Freedom. Personal freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans. There’s nothing more important. Nothing more sacred,” he noted further, going on to once again insult half the nation.

“Around the country, MAGA extremists are lining up to take those bedrock freedoms away,” he falsely claimed. “This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for reelection.”

While Democratic voters are certain to line up for him, especially if former President Donald Trump is once again the GOP nominee, most really don’t want him to run, according to a series of polls over the past several months — mostly because of his age and his very obvious mental status decline.

“A brand new poll found that a majority of Democratic voters remain adamant that Biden shouldn’t run for a second term in 2024. The brutal poll comes as Biden is reportedly planning to announce next week that he’s officially running for re-election,” Conservative Brief reported last week. “A brand new poll found that a majority of Democratic voters remain adamant that Biden shouldn’t run for a second term in 2024.”

Not everyone believes Biden’s actually going to run, however. During Monday’s episode of “The Five,” former Utah Republican congressman Jason Chaffetz, a Fox News contributor, cast doubt on whether the president’s intent to run during a discussion about Susan Rice, his domestic policy adviser who recently announced she is stepping down.

“I think she actually might be a candidate,” Chaffetz said. “I don’t think Joe Biden – even though he may announce tomorrow – I don’t think by the time he gets to the end of the year he’s actually going to run.”

While Biden touts ‘accomplishments,’ in fact, his presidency has been rife with scandal and chaos. Inflation has been at its highest in a generation and remains high. Gas and energy prices have gone up significantly under his watch, as have food and housing costs. The southwest border is virtually open, which has led to record illegal immigration and smuggling of drugs that are killing tens of thousands of Americans annually.

In addition, Biden’s regime is pushing for electrification of automobiles though prices for EVs remain far higher than combustible engine vehicles. And his embrace of far-left cultural movements like allowing biological men to compete in all-female sports and force-feeding gender and LGBTQ ideology on young students isn’t popular with a majority of the country.
