Secrets are no fun unless you share them with everyone.  Especially this one.

Attorney General William Barr reportedly knew about the investigation into Hunter Biden’s business ventures months ago but kept information from leaking to the public.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Barr was briefed before the spring about the investigations but worked to stop them from being disclosed during the election campaign despite pressures from Republicans in Congress.

In a statement on Wednesday, issued through his father’s transition team, Hunter said that prosecutors with the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware were investigating his “tax affairs.”

A source familiar with the investigation told the Daily Caller News Foundation that it all began back in 2018 and that the U.S. attorneys’ contact with Biden’s lawyer signals that the investigation has moved from a “covert” to an “overt” stage.

And, as you could imagine, republicans are not happy.

“Congressional Republicans are furious that Barr never told us the news, even in confidence,” a Capitol Hill source told the Daily Caller.

Trump also reacted to the news, blasting the Justice Department, the left-wing media, and the FBI Thursday night.

“Why didn’t the Fake News Media, the FBI, and the DOJ report the Biden matter BEFORE the Election,” he tweeted.

Trump has also publicly decried Barr’s statement earlier this month that the Justice Department had not seen enough evidence of voter fraud to overturn the election results, and criticized Barr over the lack of developments in the investigation into the origins of the Russia hoax.

Chuck Schumer Interrupted by Protesters During Amy Coney Barrett Boycott Speech

Once again, Democrats showcasing what they do best: protesting and boycotting.

As Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer spoke on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, along with other members of the committee to boycott the vote on Amy Coney Barrett, protesters could be heard screaming from across the street.

During the members speeches in opposition, Barrett was confirmed inside 12-0, with zero votes from Democrats.

As reported in the Daily Caller:

During the speech, a group of protesters can be heard and seen making noise to overpower Schumer’s voice, many screaming at him and Senate Democrats for allowing Barrett to make it this far in the confirmation process. Air horns can be heard along with chants of “no KKK, no fascist USA”.

Democrats on the committee boycotted the committee vote on Barrett and instead filled their seats in the committee with life-sized posters of people who could be hurt if the Affordable Care Act were to be repealed. Democrats have been saying if Barrett is confirmed, she will be the one to give the deciding vote on repealing the Affordable Care Act.

This just further reiterates the point that no matter what the Democrats do for their base, it is never enough.

WATCH: ACB Reacts to Disgraceful Racial Comments About her Family

Sen. Kennedy gave Barrett a chance to respond to the hateful comments from Boston University professor Ibram Kendi

After weeks of vicious attacks, Amy Coney Barrett reacted to the “cruel,” racially charged comments about her family during yesterday’s Senate confirmation hearing.

Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) told Barrett he wanted to give her a chance to respond to the hateful comments from Boston University professor Ibram Kendi, who wrote on Twitter, “Some White colonizers ‘adopted’ Black children. They ‘civilized’ these ‘savage’ children in the ‘superior’ ways of White people, while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial, while cutting the biological parents of these children out of the picture of humanity.

“Some butthead professor at Boston University says that because you and your husband have two children of color that you’re a white colonist,” said Kennedy. “The implication is that you’re a racist and that you use your two children as props. Do you use your children as props?”

Barrett Replied, “Senator Kennedy, it was the risk of people saying things like that which would be so hurtful to my family that when I told Senator Graham this morning that my husband and I really had to weigh the costs of this it was saying deeply offensive and hurtful things things that are not only hurtful to me but are hurtful to my children…who we love who we brought home and made part of our family and accusations like that are cruel.

“Yea they are. How low can you go?” replied Kennedy.
