In a recent interview, Democrat strategist James Carville, 79, shared his thoughts on President Joe Biden’s poll numbers, suggesting the issue lies with “too many preachy females” guiding the party.

Speaking to The New York Times, Carville critiqued the Democratic party’s culture, stating it embodies a message of “‘Don’t drink beer. Don’t watch football. Don’t eat hamburgers. This is not good for you.’ The message is too feminine.”

He further commented on the party’s emphasis on environmental concerns, stating, “‘Everything you’re doing is destroying the planet. You’ve got to eat your peas.'” Carville pointed out the disproportionate focus on women’s influence in elections, questioning the lack of consideration for male voters.

Regarding Biden’s poll numbers, Carville humorously likened them to an awkward encounter, stating, “looking at them is ‘like walking in on your grandma naked.'”

Acknowledging former President Trump’s appeal, Carville conceded, “Now don’t tell me that Biden has more energy or cognition than Trump because it’s evident that, yeah, Trump’s got word salads, but he projects energy.” Despite criticizing Trump’s character, Carville recognized his ability to engage audiences.

Recent polling data from the RealClearPolling average between February 21 and March 13 shows Trump leading Biden in 13 of 19 polls, with an average lead of 1.7 percent over the president. Even in a three-way race with Robert F. Kennedy, Trump maintains an average lead of 4.3 percent. The Rasmussen Report poll between March 5 and 7 showed Trump with an 8-point lead over Biden, marking his largest lead.
