David Copperfield Performed Magic Tricks for Epstein and His Victims: Court Docs

Famed American magician David Copperfield is alleged to have had dinner with sex offender and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and victims of his, as revealed in recently unsealed court documents.

The deposition from May 2016 includes an account by Johanna Sjoberg, an accuser of Epstein, who confirmed meeting Copperfield at Epstein’s house, Fox News Digital reports.

According to Sjoberg, Copperfield performed magic tricks during the dinner, identifying himself as a friend of Epstein. During the encounter, he reportedly questioned Sjoberg about the practice of paying girls to recruit others, but she provided no specific details.

The court documents were part of a lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former lover and accomplice.

The lawsuit involved the unsealing of numerous names, including former President Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and others connected to Epstein’s social circle. U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ordered the release of the names in December, and they were made public after a two-week appeal period for Jane and John Does.

Epstein’s extensive network included high-profile figures such as former U.S. presidents, foreign prime ministers, Prince Andrew, Hollywood stars, academics, and individuals in the fashion industry.

The unsealed documents reveal connections to Epstein, with some names already known through other sources despite previous redactions in the lawsuit. Notably, the list includes individuals like Clinton, who, despite not facing accusations of wrongdoing, chose not to seek the continued sealing of his name.

As the unsealed documents shed light on Epstein’s influential connections, questions have arisen about the extent of his social circle and the possible implications for those associated with him. The revelations come amidst ongoing scrutiny of Epstein’s actions and the legal proceedings involving his alleged co-conspirators.

Copperfield has yet to comment on the allegations made in the court documents.
