Yet, the White House has stood firm in its defense of Biden’s remarks, citing instances of violence against Muslims and Arab Americans. White House spokesperson Andrew Bates highlighted disturbing incidents, including the tragic killing of a 6-year-old in Chicago and the shooting of college students of Palestinian descent in Vermont.
