Recent filings reveal that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign has continued to funnel campaign funds to a Chinese foreign agent. The New York Democrat’s campaign paid $442 to Sing Tao Newspapers for print advertisements on May 25, with a previous payment of $5,000 to the company for the same purpose.
The filings, done by Fox News Digital, found that Sing Tao U.S., a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Sing Tao News Corporation Ltd, which was required by the Justice Department to register as a Chinese foreign agent in August 2021 amid rising tensions between the U.S. and China. Despite this, Ocasio-Cortez’s committee proceeded with placing advertisements in the paper during the second quarter.
Why does AOC do something for China that violates human rights, such as suppressing freedom of press, freedom of speech, freedom of religious freedom, etc., and abruptly care about human rights in India? 🤔

Sing Tao’s U.S. operations encompass Chinese language publications in major cities such as New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, along with a radio station in Burlingame, California. The company has been considered pro-Beijing and relies on Chinese company Star Production (Shenzhen) Limited for over half of its content.
While Sing Tao U.S. maintains it is free from Chinese Communist Party influence, China has long been known for its strict media control and censorship practices. The Chinese government tightly controls information in the news, online, and on social media, restricting media access to its citizens and cracking down on dissident journalists.
Despite these concerns and the Justice Department’s designation of Sing Tao U.S. as a Chinese foreign agent, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign did not respond to requests for comment on the matter.
