Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has reportedly taken on a consulting role for George Soros’ political initiatives, as indicated by recent financial reports.
Soros’ Democracy PAC, an entity he exclusively funds to influence political landscapes, transferred $30,000 to Sage Works LLC in May for strategic consulting services. Sage Works is an Atlanta-based company owned by Abrams, who also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer. The company was established in September 2002, and Abrams has remained its registered agent.

The nature of Abrams’ consulting work for Soros remains unclear, as neither party has offered further details. Despite requests for comment, Soros’ spokesperson has yet to respond.
This isn’t the first instance of financial engagement between Soros and Abrams. Several years ago, Soros paid Abrams’ firm through a Georgia-based committee he backed, the Georgia Safety & Justice PAC. In 2016, the PAC, funded by $147,000 from Soros, allocated $15,000 to Sage Works for strategic consulting services. These funds were part of Soros’ efforts to influence district attorney races, aiming to reshape the criminal justice system by targeting key positions like prosecutors.
Abrams, following her second defeat in the Georgia gubernatorial race, has moved on to work as the General Counsel for Rewiring America, an environmental advocacy group. The group focuses on advocating for the elimination of gas stoves and has entrusted Abrams with spearheading a national awareness campaign and a network of communities aimed at facilitating the transition to electric appliances.
