WATCH: Father Of Murdered Three-Year-Old Violently Attacks Suspected Killer In Court

The father of a three-year-old boy believed by authorities to have been murdered launched a vicious revenge-fueled assault on his boy’s accused killer during a court hearing last week, all of which was caught on video.

Prosecutors have accused Desean Brown of murdering 29-year-old Nyteisha Lattimore as well as her three-year-old son, Nylo. Investigators say they believe Brown stabbed Lattimore to death on Dec. 5, 2020, in a Walnut Hills, Ohio, apartment, according to reports.

The woman’s body was found along the banks of the Ohio River roughly a week later, on Dec. 12. In addition, police recovered Nylo’s stroller also near the Ohio River, but the toddler’s body has not yet been found.

That said, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters said that the toddler’s blood was discovered on a Paw Patrol blanket police recovered near the body of his mother.

WCPO-TV reported on a possible motive in the heinous crime: “Kimberly Kelley, a detective for the Cincinnati Police Department told the judge it appears Nyteisha was pregnant with Desean Brown’s child but then had a miscarriage. She said Brown was very upset and thought that Nyteisha killed his baby, so he was going to do something to her baby, Nylo.”

“In all my years as a prosecutor, I have never seen such a cold-blooded act committed against an innocent woman and her 3-year-old baby,” said Deters.

The Blaze adds:

Brown is charged with two counts of murder, one count each of felonious assault, gross abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence. If he is found guilty, Brown faces the death penalty.

During a hearing on Thursday, the boy’s father attacked the suspected murderer.

Antonio Hughes viciously walloped Brown in the courtroom attack. Hughes managed to land several forceful punches on the head of Hughes before he was tackled to the ground by police officers.

Though he was handcuffed, Hughes continued to try to attack the suspected murderer of his son. Four police officers physically struggled to restrain the angry father, and eventually he had to be taken to the ground again in order to be fully restrained.

Judge Megan Shanahan charged Hughes with contempt of court and summarily sentenced him to serve one week in the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Meanwhile, Brown’s next court date is Aug. 29.

Before the attack, Brown’s attorney asked the judge to bar prosecutors from using Brown’s confession tape in the trial, claiming that a police detective coerced him into surrendering his right to counsel. Shanahan said that she would make that determination at a later date.

In addition, she refused to lower Brown’s bond in spite of a request by his attorney, meaning he will remain behind bars and is not eligible for bail.

According to Deters, “Brown let Nyteisha’s body sit in her apartment for at least five days, before using a body bag to remove it from the apartment,” WCPO-TV reported.

“During the news conference last year, Deters showed a screenshot of a surveillance video dated Dec. 11, 2020, which he said depicts Brown carrying Nyteisha’s body in the body bag through a hallway in her Walnut Hills apartment building. Brown allegedly took an Uber to dump her body,” the outlet’s report continued.

Prosecutors noted that a review of his phone data indicated he searched for body bags, cleaning products, and bridges.

They also allege that Brown threw the toddler into the Ohio River while he was still alive.
