US Truckers Will Form Convoy to Fight Vaccine Mandates

US Truckers will be following in the steps to their neighbors up north, forming a convoy that traverses the entirety of the US, from California to Washington, DC.

The American Truckers Facebook group, made this past Sunday, has already garnered more than 67,000 members.

Like the Canadians, the US group says they will stay in DC until mandates are removed.

β€œWe are part of many large groups who believe in our founding fathers. We believe everyone has a voice. We support our freedom. Help us spread the word about this group and together we all can make it a better place.. God Bless America,” the page reads.

In Canada, truck drivers and civilian vehicles formed a convoy that crossed from British Columbia to the nation’s capital in Ottawa, Canada, to fight the country’s vaccine mandate. While the protest spawned initially to stop cross-border mandates, additional vehicles joined the cause to protest more general mandates.

“There are plenty of retired Americans with Airstreams and RVs that can join the Trucker Convoys,” one user wrote, reports Daily Wire. “They would be a great support team by cooking, providing supplies and nice washrooms for the truckers.”

“Excellent idea!! Everyone helps out,” said another user. “This will have to be the BIGGEST convoy if it’s going to be effective!”

The protest in Canada was condemned by the governing Liberal Party, led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who falsely accused the trucker convoy of racism.

“Freedom of expression, assembly, and association, are cornerstones of democracy. But Nazi symbolism, racist imagery, and desecration of war memorials are not. It’s an insult to memory and truth,” said Trudeau on Monday morning.

“Hate can never be the answer. Over the past few days, Canadians were shocked, and frankly, disgusted by the behavior displayed by some people protesting in our nation’s capital.”

“We won’t give in to those who fly racist flags, we won’t cave to those who engage in vandalism or dishonour the memory of our veterans,” he continued.
