Twitter Suspends Charlie Kirk For Calling A Biological Man a Man

Once again, Twitter has proven that it really isn’t a platform for free speech but instead a platform that censors free speech in favor of pushing the left’s cultural propaganda.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has been suspended from Twitter for saying what, 15 minutes ago in America, was self-evident, non-controversial, and not up for debate: That a person born as a biological male is a man, no matter what they ‘identify’ as (and, conversely, someone born a biological female is a woman).

“Truth is banned from Twitter,” Kirk told The Daily Wire on Tuesday. “They believe they are the arbiters of truth regarding society’s most controversial topics.”

“Rather than allowing Americans to have these debates, they punish defiance, demand that you delete the tweet, and if you do, they get to say, ‘see, we are nice, reasonable tyrants,’” he added. “They want submission. We must not give them what they want.”

The TPUSA founder’s ‘offending’ tweet involved Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Rachel Levine.

“Rachel Levine spent 54 years of his life as a man,” he tweeted on March 15. “He had a wife and a family. He ‘transitioned’ to being a woman in 2011. Joe Biden appointed Levine to be a 4-Star Admiral and now USA Today has named ‘Rachel’ Levine as a ‘Woman of the Year.’”

“Where are the feminists,” he added.

A spokesman for the platform told The Daily Wire that Kirk’s truth bomb was a violation of Twitter’s rules against “hateful conduct.”

“The account owner will be required to delete the violative Tweet and spend 12 hours in read-only mode before regaining full access to their account,” the Twitter spokesman noted.

The Daily Wire added:

The spokesman pointed The Daily Wire to the company’s “hateful conduct” policy, which states that Twitter prohibits “targeting others with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to dehumanize, degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category.”

“This includes targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals,” the statement said.

Literally, daily, left-wing hate-mongers on Twitter write and say disparaging things about conservatives, but seldom, if ever, are they similarly punished over it.

Hateful, like wishing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, who was hospitalized earlier this week for an infection, would pass away. Nothing ‘hateful’ about that, unless you’re an unhinged liberal and you post those sentiments on a platform that specifically protects you.

Before Kirk was suspended, satire site The Babylon Bee had its account frozen too for a comical (but true) take on USA Today’s naming of Levine as ‘Woman of the Year.’

“Babylon Bee’s Man of the Year Is Rachel Levine,” the headline stated.

“But wait. Both these tweets are true,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson observed.

“Twitter also took action against Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who also referred to Levine as a man,” The Daily Wire reported.

“Though Twitter flagged the tweet as hateful, the platform allowed Paxton’s tweet to remain, stating, ‘This tweet violated the Twitter Rules about hateful conduct. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the tweet to remain accessible.'”

Why? What’s the difference?

The problem isn’t that Twitter is a hypocritical mess. The problem is that the platform is contributing to the demise of our civilization by labeling truthful, honest statements as erroneous ‘hateful’ speech.

When a people cannot be allowed to recognize and utter well-established scientific fact, the end can’t be too far away.
