Trump Vindicated After World Health Organization Suffers Another Humiliating Failure

Americans who view and analyze former President Donald Trump’s term with fair-minded scrutiny will discover that in the vast majority of cases, statements and predictions he made came true.

His first ‘outrageous’ claim — that ‘Mexico was sending murderers and rapists’ while also sending ‘good people’ — was spot-on, as any Border Patrol agent with 10 minutes on the job will admit.

His prediction that the major left-wing news outlets’ ratings would plunge into nothingness after he left office? True.

A prediction by some that Trump would take over the Republican Party? Check.

By contrast, some of the wild leftist predictions about Trump’s presidency did not come true, such as:

— Trump would start a nuclear war (or any war; actually, he was a peacemaking president);

— The stock market would tank if he won (the markets experienced record growth under Trump’s economic policies);

— Women’s rights would simply vanish (they are vanishing under left-wing transgender policies, as evidenced by the damage being done to women’s sports);

— Civilization would end;

— Celebrities would leave the U.S. (we waited and waited and waited but they didn’t leave).

Another thing that Trump got right: Defunding the World Health Organization because it is nothing but a globalist-left organization that puts American interests last.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a massive case in point, as the Western Journal points out:

When then-President Donald Trump halted the United States’ funding of the World Health Organization in April 2020 and severed ties with the group a month later, critics accused him of ignoring Americans in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, nearly a year after current President Joe Biden rejoined the WHO, the health body has proved to be as ineffective as Trump predicted.

According to The Washington Post, the WHO directed an initiative called Covax whose goal was to distribute 2 billion worldwide doses of COVID-19 vaccines by the end of 2021.

Instead, Covax sent out just over 900 million doses during the year — about 1.1 billion doses short of its goal.

It’s one thing to set aggressive goals and fall somewhat short, but it is another thing entirely to set one and then fail to get even halfway there. So again, Trump — not all of the so-called diplomats and experts — was right when it comes to the World Health Organization being largely impotent.

Oh, and let’s not forget another thing that Trump saw: The WHO covered for the Chinese after it became obvious that the pandemic began there.

“Its actions actually helped prevent the spread of coronavirus to other countries,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in January 2020, according to Stat News.

Trump knew better (and really, so did everyone else in Washington – they were just loathe to give Trump credit for anything he did).

“Chinese officials ignored their reporting obligations to the World Health Organization and pressured the World Health Organization to mislead the world when the virus was first discovered by Chinese authorities,” Trump said during a May 29, 2020, news conference.

“Countless lives have been taken, and profound economic hardship has been inflicted all around the globe,” Trump said.

“China has total control over the World Health Organization, despite only paying $40 million per year compared to what the United States has been paying, which is approximately $450 million a year,” he noted further.

“We have detailed the reforms that it must make and engage with them directly, but they have refused to act. Because they have failed to make the requested and greatly needed reforms, we will be today terminating our relationship with the World Health Organization and redirecting those funds to other worldwide and deserving, urgent, global public health needs,” Trump added.

In addition to making accurate predictions and statements, Trump also kept the vast majority of his promises: Building a border wall, rebuilding the U.S. military, reducing U.S. military presence around the world, stoking our economy, making the U.S. energy independent, and regaining our respect.

Let’s hope we get a repeat beginning in 2024.
