Trump Reacts With Fury to News He’s About to Be Indicted

Former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Friday in response to reports that he is about to be indicted on Tuesday by George Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over charges related to a ‘hush money’ payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.

“NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!” he said.

Bragg’s office is expected to pursue campaign finance violations, according to reports, alleging that Trump’s payment to Daniels amounted to an improper political compensation, but there are doubts among many legal experts that the case has any merit. At a minimum, they argue, Bragg’s office will have a tough time trying to prove Trump intended to improperly spend campaign funds or that the funds he dispersed were, in fact, from his campaign.

Meanwhile, several conservatives responded as well to the news, including political commentator and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, who produced the post-2020 election integrity documentary “2,000 Mules.”

“If the Democrats want action, let’s have it. Time to retaliate against a gratuitous #TrumpIndictment by filing impeachment articles against President Biden. The trial provides a unique opportunity to expose the China sellout and full corruption of the #BidenCrimeFamilly,” he said on Twitter.

“Arresting the leader of the opposition party is the signature move of socialist and Third World despotic regimes. Moreover, it’s always done in the name of ‘fighting corruption’ and ‘rule of law,’” he added.

“Impeachments have the effect of completely paralyzing an administration. An impeachment trial would not only showcase Biden’s global corruption racket but also make it impossible for him to govern. It’s almost worth a Trump arrest to motivate the House GOP to #IMPEACHBIDENNOW,” D’Souza continued.

““The media can ignore GOP House investigations. But they can’t ignore a Biden impeachment trial in Congress. It would put all of Biden’s crimes and corruption on display. The country and the world would see we are being ruled by an illegitimate president and junta #IMPEACHBIDEN,” he added.

He was joined by Twitter CEO Elon Musk who said he believes that the indictment will lead to a Trump victory.

“If this happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory,” Musk wrote.
