The Biden administration has positioned itself as the most woke, far-left regime in the nation’s history, but it likely isn’t woke enough yet for the small minority of biological men who ‘identify’ as women.

According to the current Selective Service System policy, trans women cannot get out of the requirement for all males to register for the military draft when they turn 18 years old, American Military News has reported. All males between the ages of 18 and 25 are subject to the requirement.

“U.S. citizens or immigrants who are born male and have changed their gender to female [must register],” the policy states.

However, the irony doesn’t stop there: Biological females who now identify as male are not required to register because as it stands, women are not subject to the draft.

“Parents, if your son is an only son and the last male in your family to carry the family name, he is still required to register with SSS,” the agency said on Twitter, directing people to the registration site.

“Trans women (also known as men) will be forced to sign up for the draft. Looks like Joe Biden has just officially confirmed what a woman is and what a woman isn’t,” Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) tweeted mockingly.

“US citizens or immigrants who are born male and changed their gender to female are still required to register. Individuals who are born female and changed their gender to male are not required to register,” the SSS website states.

It adds:

OPM notes that “transgender” refers to people whose gender identity and/or expression is different from the sex assigned to them at birth (e.g. the sex listed on an original birth certificate). The OPM Guidance further explains that the term “transgender woman” is typically used to refer to someone who was assigned the male sex at birth but who identifies as a female. Likewise, OPM provides that the term “transgender man” typically is used to refer to someone who was assigned the female sex at birth but who identifies as male.

Failure to register is a felony and non-registrants may be denied the following benefits for life:

• State-based student loans and grant programs in 31 states
• Federal job training under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (formerly Workforce Investment Act)
• Federal (and many state and local) jobs
• Up to a 5-year delay of U.S. citizenship proceedings for immigrants

Some users on Twitter mocked the agency.

“My son’s a girl now so we good,” one wrote, according to the Daily Wire.

“For the purpose of SSS my son will identify as a girl starting with his 18th birthday. Checkmate fascist,” tweeted another.

Last year, the Biden administration expressed support for requiring women to register for the draft as well, but a provision requiring it was removed from the final fiscal 2022 Defense Authorization Bill.

“Our military has welcomed women for decades and is stronger for it,” said Sen. Tom Cotton, R-AR., who served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army and saw action in Iraq and Afghanistan while on active duty from 2005-2009. “But America’s daughters should never be drafted against their will.”
