'The View' Co-Host Ana Navarro Claims She's 'Miserable' In Florida, But Isn't Moving Anywhere Soon

“The View” co-host Ana Navarro has frequently claimed that she’s a Republican but she just as frequently proves she’s really just a RINO — Republican In Name Only — and she did so again this week during a show segment.

On Friday’s episode of The View, the co-hosts discussed the reasons why people in Nordic countries rank highly in happiness studies. However, co-host Ana Navarro shifted the discussion to criticize Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis and his policies, describing the state as a place of misery, accusing DeSantis of promoting “insanity” and “manic paranoia” for political gain.

“They are banning absolutely everything that isn’t the kitchen sink, and tomorrow, I may wake up, and the kitchen sink has been banned,” she said. “They are terrifying teachers. People don’t want to be teachers in Florida.”

After a commercial break, the co-hosts resumed their discussion about the happiness rankings of Nordic countries, with a focus on Finland, which has been ranked as the happiest country in the world for six consecutive years, Fox News reported.

“Sunny told me this morning I need to find my happiness,” Navarro said.

“She was upset at 8:30, I was like ‘You need to go to Finland,’ co-host Sunny Hostin responded.

“Maybe if you lived in Florida, you would be upset 24 hours a day too,” Navarro claimed.

Co-host Joy Behar interjected, “Time to move.” But Navarro did not give any indication that she planned to do that.

She did, however, go on to observe that three of the happiest countries, “Finland, Denmark, Iceland” are all in the same region, opining that “there’s got to be some sort of connection there.” She expressed her skepticism of how happy she would be in Finland by pointing out that there are no “Cuban restaurants” or “taco places.”

Navarro has been an outspoken critic of DeSantis, frequently taking issue with his policies. She even claimed that DeSantis won his reelection by “gaming the system” after winning by nearly 20 points. And recently, Navarro criticized the governor for his education policies and accused him of banning books, a claim which has been disputed by some.

Listen, if I was a parent in Florida, I would be a hell of a lot more concerned with banning of books,” Navarro said. “It’s the second-highest state to ban books.”
