San Fran Mayor Defends Breaking Indoor Mask Mandate on ‘Feeling the Spirit’ Dancing, Insults ‘Fun Police’

Adding insult to injury, San Francisco Mayor London Breed has the audacity to attempt to justify why her hypocrisy is allowed. San Francisco has some of the most rigid COVID-19 mandates, particularly causing controversy about its effect on the cities children and minorities.

Breed, however, was caught on video at the Black Cat Club in San Francisco Thursday evening in an environment completely contradictory to all that she is imposing upon her citizens. A video leaked on Twitter, with the user writing, “London Breed, mayor of San Francisco, the first US city to impose a lockdown and the one with the strictest vaccine mandate, filmed partying without a mask despite the city’s indoor mask mandate, once again breaking her own COVID rules.”

Breed was dancing inside the club, in close quarters, with dozens of other maskless individuals. Even more enraging is when she addressed the public about her behavior. “we don’t need the fun police to come in and micromanage and tell us what we should or shouldn’t be doing.” The Freedom police are arguing the same thing, madam hypocrite.

Breed said the controversy was overblown. “My drink was sitting at the table…I got up and started dancing because I was feeling the spirit and I wasn’t thinking about a mask.” She continued, “no. I’m not going to sip and put my mask on, sip and put my mask up, eat and put my mask on…while I’m eating and drinking I’m gonna keep my mask off.”

In November of last year Breed came under scrutiny after hosting a large gathering with people outside of her quarantine bubble in the middle of the fall’s COVID surge when she and other Democratic politicians were urging people not to see their own families for the holidays.
