The wife of the late, great conservative talk host Rush Limbaugh, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, joined conservative media mogul Glenn Beck this week to give some new insight into a rumor about something said to have been put on the radio legend’s death certificate.
Beck, himself host of a top-rated talk show, asked Kathyrn to confirm rumors that her late husband wanted the phrase “Radio’s Greatest of All Time” placed on the certificate.
Kathryn, who first laughed at the question, responded: “Yes. We have to be on brand at all times. … Another thing that we wanted to do and a way to tweak the media as a final goodbye from Rush, which we know he certainly would have loved.”

A direct descendant of the country’s second president, John Adams, Kathryn had joined Beck to promote a book on Rush’s life that she co-authored called, “Radio’s Greatest of All Time.”
Previously, Rush’s widow talked about what he would think about the state of the country today under President Joe Biden and Democrats.
“He would be upset with the United States not being as strong as it has been and should be. I know he would say it’s not time to panic,” she said in a February interview with Fox News, on the first anniversary of Rush’s death from lung cancer.
“It’s never time to panic,” Kathryn believed Rush would say. “Folks, it’s never, ever going to be time to give up on our country. It’ll never be time to give up on the United States. It’ll never be time to give up on yourself.”
In addition, his brother David Limbaugh, a writer and attorney, also spoke on the first anniversary of Rush’s passing.
“I have no right to speak for Rush but I’m going to speak for him anyway to the extent of expressing my immense appreciation and awe at his fan’s (your) profound love for him,” David Limbaugh tweeted. “Thank you. I knew he was loved, but wow, it is even beyond what I thought. So grateful.”

During her Fox News interview, the late host’s wife also talked about his accomplishment of becoming the preeminent voice of conservativism of his generation.
“To me, it really represents Rush in so many ways, not because of the grandness of it. That’s not really him. It represents success, American freedom,” she explained.
She also said Rush was able to “keep going” when things got rough for him as he battled lung cancer and was receiving treatments because he was so committed to his audience.
“Rush always said that this audience meant everything to him, and we want that to carry on and make sure that we continue our American values, that we continue to have pride for our symbols,” she said.
