'Ritual Purposes': Megan Fox, Fiancé Machine Gun Kelly Admit They Drink Each Other's Blood

We’ve seen some pretty bizarre behavior in the entertainment industry over the years, but this one is pretty close to being the most bizarre.

Actress Megan Fox said in an interview this week that she and fiancee and rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), whose real name is Colson Baker, drink each other’s blood for “ritual purposes.”

In January when Fox announced their engagement, the couple first teased the act. But they went into more detail in an interview published this week.

“I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like ‘Game of Thrones’ drinking each other’s blood,” Fox told Glamour U.K. this week. “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”

“And it is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it,’” the 35-year-old continued. “He’s much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he’s willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, ‘Take my soul.’”

“It doesn’t not happen,” Fox said in response after being asked by the magazine if the blood-drinking really does occur. “Let me tell you. Maybe not exactly like that, but a version of that has happened many times.”

The “Jennifer’s Body” actress announced her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly earlier this year and teased the strange behavior.

“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree,” Fox wrote as she captioned an Instagram post. “We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”

“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him,” she added. “And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.…and then we drank each other’s blood. 1.11.22.”

Fox went on to tell the magazine that she believes she has “manifested” her current mate since she was around four years old, adding that she accepted a role in a movie where she met the rapper without really understanding why.

“I didn’t know why I was taking the movie,” she explained. “I just knew I needed to do it for some reason. And then when I was at the table read, there was still one character that hadn’t been cast. And I asked, ‘Who was playing that character?’ And they were like, ‘Oh, it’s Machine Gun Kelly.’ And I kind of knew the name but didn’t, so I’m looking it up, and I was like, ‘Oh, I’m going to be in so much trouble,'” she said.

“He’s literally my exact physical type that I’ve been manifesting since I was four,” she said. “I’m also four years older than him. So, I think I made him. My thoughts and intentions grew him into the person that he is. Who knows what he would’ve looked like or been like if it wasn’t for me?”
