A rapper calling out the woke and hypocritical left has hit a chord with consumers, making him the #1 song on iTunes, #1 trending on YouTube, and has received almost 4 million views in a mere 3 days.
In only three minutes and forty-two seconds, viewers are slapped in the face with a potent dose of reality. Saying what many have been thinking, Tom MacDonald’s music video for his song “Snowflakes” is bringing those fed up with the “woke” left and forced “critical race theory” culture back to life.
Comments flooded in with support; one user wrote, “Man’s beat Billie Eyelash and Roddy Rich on YouTube trending and he can’t be stopped on Spotify. The fan base is incredible.” Another commented, “this song has surpassed the legal level of common sense allowed in one song!”
“They preaching tolerance, but if you disagree, they fight” one user admiringly quoted the song, then added, “I heard about that guy Tom 2 days ago and I already know the lyrics to 2 of his songs. Dude’s killing it.”
Here are a few of the lyrics accompanying the chorus of “y’all are so fake, oh no, the forecast said that there’d be snowflakes:”
“If you lie to the government they’ll put you in prison, when they lie to all of us it’s called being a politician”
“If America’s so terrible and racist, it probably isn’t to encourage immigration”
“Coca-Cola tellin’ people they should be less white”
“There’s a race war here, elections based on fear”
“Men playing women’s sports get trophy’s for winning, like great, let’s celebrate a man for beating some women”
“Snowflakes melt when it’s hot kid.”
“Black lives matter only once every 4 years…”
A Bill Pushing Left Leaning Politics Into the Classroom in Illinois Has Officially Passed
In an article we previously wrote concerning the Illinois State Board of Education passing a bill called “Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leading Standards has officially been upheld by the Illinois Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR).
Some of the new standards include teachers assessing “how their biases affect how they access tools to mitigate their own behavior (racism, sexism, homophobia, unearned privilege, Eurocentrism, etc.)”
Bettina L. Love is a prominent advocate of Critical Race Theory in education and she believes “White Teachers Need Anti-Racist Therapy.”
If teachers do not do so voluntarily the new standards would allow schools to force teachers into therapy for their whiteness , along with punishing them with a loss of license and certification if complaints are made about them not adopting “progressive” ideologies. Teaching about “systemic racism” will be required as well.
Some Republican lawmakers voiced their opposition to the standards earlier this month, saying they add unnecessary politics to the classroom.
Sen. Sue Rezin, R-Morris, said she asked ISBE to include more diverse perspectives on their task forces to avoid standards like this from being so controversial in the future, and said the board made some of the changes Republicans asked for.
Rezin said her office got an unusually high number of calls and emails about these standards.
These new teaching standards will take effect in October 2025.
Some lawmakers were not happy with the decision including Republican Candidate for Governor and Former Senator Paul Schimpf:
“I am extremely disappointed that JCAR approved the State Board of Education’s Culturally Responsive Teacher Standards. These standards politicize the teacher certification process and undermine the authority of local school boards, superintendents, and parents to control their children’s’ education. This is yet another example of top-down, administrative overreach by the Pritzker Administration and illustrates a clear example of why Illinois needs a new governor.”
"Kids in Cages" Was Created Under the Obama Administration
Michelle Obama and Joe Biden would like you to believe that children being separated from their family at the border is a Trump policy, this couldn’t be farther from the truth. The have been several instances now when Democrats, trying to prove their point, used photographs of children in cages to attack Trump only to find out that the pictures were taken during the Obama Administration.
As reported in USA Today:
In a 2019 interview with nonpartisan think tank The Aspen Institute, Jeh Johnson, Barack Obama’s Homeland Security secretary, told NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly that the “cages” predate the Trump administration.
“Chain-link barriers, partitions, fences, cages, whatever you want to call them were not invented on January 20, 2017,” Johnson said.
Kelly asked Johnson about a 2014 photograph of him touring an Arizona facility for migrants along with former Gov. Jan Brewer. The picture is archived on the website for the Arizona Capitol Times.
That image was also part of another social media meme accusing Michelle Obama of lying about “kids in cages” during her DNC speech. Facebook user Eulalia Maria Jimenez posted it to her page on Aug. 18. Johnson is circled in red in the image.
Johnson explained the picture was taken during a spike in unaccompanied minors crossing the southern border of the country.
“The kids are being housed in the same facilities built under the Obama administration. If you want to call them cages, call them cages. But if the left wants to call them cages, and the Democrats want to call them cages, then they have to accept the fact that they were built and funded in FY ’15, and I was there,” Homan said, according to a transcript.
The Associated Press reported in late 2019 that an unprecedented 69,550 migrant children were held in U.S. custody over that year.
But Michelle Obama’s assertion that the Trump administration tore children from their families and threw them into cages alludes to “a frequent and distorted point made widely by Democrats,” according to the AP. The facilities designed during the Obama administration to temporarily hold migrants were used for a similar purpose by President Trump, the AP also concluded.
This information has a lot of trouble reaching a Democrat audience when they are fed constant lies from main stream media.
