Passenger Forced To Cover 'Lets Go Brandon' Mask On Spirit Airlines Flight After Being Told It Is 'Offensive'

It is not bad enough that you have to wear a mask every time you take a flight, now one airline wants to tell you what mask you can wear.

A passenger on a Spirit Airlines flight recently was told that he had to cover a “Let’s Go Brandon” mask because it was found to be offensive, The New York Post reported.

A passenger aboard a Spirit Airlines flight claimed he was forced to remove his electronic face mask featuring the glowing slogan, “Let’s go Brandon,” along with the letters FJB — the code for “F— Joe Biden.”

Adam Radogna, a supporter of former President Donald Trump flying from Cleveland, Ohio, to Tampa, Florida, on Friday, posted a viral video showing him being handed a surgical mask to replace the one he was wearing.

When he asks a flight attendant why, she is heard saying, “It’s offensive … it can be to some people, so we’re not going to go back and forth. Go ahead and put the blue one on, OK?”

After wearing the blue mask over his scrolling one, Radogna goes on to say, “This is not America anymore.”

“I was told I need to turn off my mask that says ‘Let’s go Brandon’ on it and my shirt is fine, though. The mask is not. The shirt says the same thing as the mask,” he said as he looked at the camera.

In another video he asks a flight attendant “Isn’t it freedom of speech to have this mask on?”

He created another video where he asked to speak to a supervisor and threatened to sue the airline.

“It’s freedom of speech, sir. You’re not going to play with me today, OK? I’m allowed to wear a mask. The shirt says the same thing, ‘Let’s go Brandon.’ It’s not political. You made it political,” the costumer said.

“We live in America. This is Florida. This is the free state of Florida,” he said. “I’ll make a scene.”

“If I had BLM on here or something else, would it have been fine for her?” he said, which the person who appeared to be the supervisor appeared to understand.

In October, Associated Press reporter Colleen Long said that a Southwest pilot came over the loudspeaker at the end of a flight she was on and said the phrase, “Let’s Go Brandon.”

“TFW you’re trying to go on vacation and then the pilot says the very thing you’re working on over the loud speaker and you have to try to get him comment but then almost get removed from plane,” she said on Twitter.

“Also in defense of airline I was asking them to open locked cock pit and probably sounded insane!” she said.

Southwest issued a statement at the time as it was investigating the alleged incident.

“Southwest does not tolerate any behavior that encouraged divisiveness, as it does not reflect the Southwest Hospitality and inclusiveness for which we are known and strive to provide each day on every flight,” the airline said.

The phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” became code for “F**k Joe Biden” when an NBC Sports reporter, was interviewing NASCAR driver Brandon Brown and said that fans were chanting “Let’s go Brandon” when it was apparent that they were changing “F**k Joe Biden.”
