Former President Donald Trump is getting support from people that no one could have ever anticipated, including hardcore Democrats.
One such Democrat was interviewed on her way to the former president’s rally in the Bronx, NY on Thursday when she explained why he has her vote.
“I’m here because when Trump was president, it was much better. I mean — he didn’t — the world wasn’t on fire,” the unidentified woman who said she was “not at all” a fan of the former president said to reporter Savanah Hernandez. “The prices went up like crazy. The price of gas, everything. So from the — he’s the best, I shouldn’t say of the worst — but there’s no choice.”
“I am a Democrat,” the woman who said she was a registered Democrat but has voted for Republicans in the past, said. “I go according to who is better.”
“Well, I think he’s destroying the country with his policies, you know, it’s just — things are getting worse and worse, and more — we could end up with World War III with Biden, and I think that Trump is going to … Make America Great Again [laughs] you know, I’m saying that,” she said.
She said she was not a fan of the things the former president says, but said she still believes he is the better choice for the nation.
“His policies were much better. Much, much better,” she said.

President Biden is bleeding voters and he is doing it in the places he needs them the most.
A new poll shows that former President Donald Trump is ahead of the president in five of seven key swing states, the Bloomberg News/Morning Consult from May 7th to the 13th said.
The poll showed that the former president is ahead of President Biden by seven points in North Carolina, five points in Arizona, three in Georgia, two in Pennsylvania, and even one point in Wisconsin.
The pair are tied in Nevada and the president is ahead of the former president by one point in Michigan, a state which poses other dangers for him as he is suffering with those who work in the auto industry and the large Muslim-American population that wants an end to the war between Israel and Gaza.
