Minnesota Grandmother Jailed By Harris Running Mate Walz Said He Destroyed Her Business

Vice President Kamala Harris’ pick to be her vice president, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, has a ton to answer for in his handling of the COVID lockdowns.

Days ago, a video emerged of National Guard troops in the streets of his state shooting people with paintballs for not staying in their homes, and now a woman who says he life was ruined by Walz has broken her silence.

Lisa Hanson spoke to Fox News on Wednesday morning and said that the Minnesota governor created policies that shut down her bar business during the lockdowns, naming it a “non-essential business” and then imprisoning her for breaking the lockdown rules.

“The liquor stores and strip clubs actually got to stay open. So November came, and again, I told my husband, I said, ‘We can’t do this. We can’t survive another shutdown,’” she said. “I decided I was either going to close my business permanently because we couldn’t afford to stay in business any longer, or I was going to open up fully.”

“His policies destroy the American people’s rights. The Minnesotans’ rights, to be specific. He destroyed so many businesses in the state of Minnesota, never to open again. He destroyed so many lives in Minnesota. Literally. The man is a criminal, and he should be impeached. And he should be prosecuted,” she said.

The grandmother was given a warning to close her business before she was sentenced to 90 days behind bars for violating the lockdown orders.

Hanson made similar comments in a print interview with the network.

“He shut down a lot of the mom-and-pop shops, those folks that were just trying to make a living and provide a great product and a great service,” she said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “In contrast, he allowed big box stores, etc. to stay open. Really incredible, an incredible use of tyranny against the people.”

“This is the story that America needs to hear, that Tim Walz is not some cuddly, joyful coach, like all the things that the MSMs are calling him,” Hanson noted. “That is not who this man is. This man would like to take your rights away. He will take your rights away. Because what happened to me could have happened to anybody. What happened to me will happen to you.”
