Instead of using his aggression towards Russian President Vladimir Putin during their meeting, President Biden saved it for his press corp. During a press conference Wednesday after his meeting with Putin, a reporter asked Biden “why are you so confident he’ll change his behavior, Mr. President?”
The question was raised as Biden was turning and walking away from the press. In an uncomfortable and aggressive response, Biden turned and addressed the reporter. “Yeah, I’m not confident he’ll change his behavior, what the hell, what do you do all the time?” Biden then wagged his finger and began approaching the reporter.
“When did I say I was confident? I said, what I said was, let’s get it straight” he stated while approaching closer. “I said what will change their behavior is if the rest of the world reacts to him it diminishes his standing in the world.” “I’m not confident of anything. I’m just stating a fact” Biden finished as he stood in front of the press.

Kindly, Biden allowed the CNN reporter, Kaitlan Collins, to continue asking her question and provide clarification as to what she was asking. “In that press conference after sitting down with you for several hours, he denied any involvement in cyber-attacks, he downplayed human rights abuses, he refused to say Alexei Navalny’s name” stated Collins.
“So how does that account to a constructive meeting as a President?” Collins asked. Lifting his arm Biden condescendingly replied, “if you don’t understand that, you’re in the wrong business.” He then turned and walked away.
National Review wrote that Biden reportedly approached the press on the tarmac before boarding Air Force One to apologize for being such a “wise guy” referring to his harsh response to Collins’ question. Collins told CNN during her appearance “he did not have to apologize, though I do appreciate he did.”
