Kamala Harris Blasted Over Massive Gaffe in South Korea: 'What An Absolute Disaster'

Vice President Kamala Harris is becoming as much of a gaffe machine as her boss, President Joe Biden, as evidenced anew during her current trip to Asia.

While in South Korea on Thursday, Harris made the customary visit to the Demilitarized Zone separating the country from North Korea, going on to make obligatory remarks about our ally and how the relationship is important, and so forth, and so on.

Only, Harris mentioned the wrong country as our ‘ally.’

“The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea,” Harris said without missing a beat or correcting herself. “And it is an alliance that is strong and enduring.”

North Korea, of course, is the Stalinist dictatorship run by Kim Jong-Un, whom President Donald Trump successfully convinced to pause his nuclear weapons testing and development programs during his term. In the year-and-a-half of the ‘Biden-Harris administration,’ Kim has not only restarted those programs but he has also resumed missile tests.

Had a Republican vice president made a similar statement — or any Trump administration official — the mainstream legacy press and left-wing cable news talking heads would have been on non-stop meltdown for a week. But since it was Harris, a Democrat, silence.

Then again, Trump had professional, knowledgable, serious people in his administration and thus, none of them made such blatantly stupid remarks.

“If the Dems decide Biden isn’t their guy in 2024, they won’t be looking to Kamala Harris as the candidate,” columnist Brian Lilley said, according to The Daily Wire. “This is something straight out of an episode of Veep – praising the U.S. alliance with North Korea?”

“Biden looked around a room for a dead person,” media strategist Greg Price added. “Kamala is saying we have an alliance and important relationship with Kim Jong-Un. What an absolute disaster.”

Nile Gardiner, a former aide to Margaret Thatcher, noted boldly: “Kamala Harris is monumentally unfit to be Vice President of the United States. Her sheer ignorance on the international stage, complete lack of policy knowledge, and frequent gaffes are an embarrassment to the world’s superpower.”

“Our President sees dead people,” radio host Erick Erickson remarked, The Daily Wire noted further. “This Vice President sees North Korea as an ally, and the media is all ‘Well, they’re not Trump so it’s all okay.’”

Retired U.S. diplomat Alberto Miguel Fernandez responded, “Diplomacy is back, baby. Evidently we switched sides in Korea under the Biden Administration and nobody told us. Unlike her boss, she can’t claim advanced old age as a defense.”

“USA – Kamala Harris in South Korea announces – they have formed an alliance with erm… [North] Korea,” noted another Twitter account. “It’s just embarrassing now.”

Adam in H Town responded: “Hmm, maybe that’s why she’s never been to the southern border. She kept telling Air Force Two to fly her towards Canada by mistake.”

Harris also posed for some great photos showing her peering through binoculars (at what, she isn’t sure) while remarking about how “close” North Korea is.

“It’s 50 meters, ma’am,” her Army escort clarified.
