Joy Behar Worries Italy Vacation May Be Cancelled Due to Ukraine-Russia Conflict

Joy Behar of The View expressed fears on Thursday that the armed conflict currently taking place on the Ukrainian-Russian border could potentially impact her upcoming vacation to Italy.

Behar said that she may even go so far as to put her travel plans on hold due to NATO putting defenses into place, as Russian troops storm much of the bordering region.

It’s just the latest in a long history of completely idiotic statements by the clueless co-host of The View.

“Well, I’m scared of what’s gonna happen in Western Europe too,” Behar said. “You know, you just, you plan a trip, you wanna go there.”

Behar said that despite the distance between Ukraine and Italy, she still had fears that the conflict could spill over, or at the very least, have an impact on her leisure time.

“I’ve wanted to go to Italy for four years, and I haven’t been able to make it because of the pandemic, and now this, you know, it’s like, ‘what’s gonna happen there too?” she remarked.

Behar then criticized Putin, calling him a “singular sensation, in a certain way.”

Behar said that Putin had little support in his own country. She does not acknowledge the actual dangers ongoing in Ukraine. On Thursday, Ukraine said that “dozens” of Ukrainian military men have already died in conflict.

The Biden administration has yet to act beyond imposing sanctions on Russia.
