Jim Jordan Says Tsunami of FBI Whistleblowers Have Come Forward to His Office

Rep. Jim Jordan has put President Joe Biden and his Justice Department on notice.

Should the GOP retake the House during the 2022 midterms, as is widely anticipated, the Ohio Republican warned that oversight of both the administration and the DOJ is coming, especially regarding the FBI following its unprecedented raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate last week.

And, according to Jordan, there is a growing number of FBI agents and personnel who are talking to him and his GOP colleagues on the House Judiciary Committee, where he is the ranking member.

“Fourteen FBI agents have come to our office as whistleblowers, and they are good people. There are lots of good people in the FBI. It’s the top that is the problem,” the Ohio Republican told Fox News. “Some of these good agents are coming to us, telling us … what’s going on… the political nature now of the Justice Department.

“It is becoming a well-worn trail of agents who say, ‘This has got to stop.’ And thank goodness for them,” Jordan said on Sunday.

The Washington Examiner reports:

During a conversation about alleged politicization at the Justice Department, along with former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, Jordan made the case that the public has “figured it out” when it comes to what he characterized as the Left generating a lie, the “Big Media” reporting the lie, Big Tech amplifying the lie, and then both piling on Republicans when they catch on and say something. He said there are agents in the bureau who have realized the same.

Earlier this summer, Jordan told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that a half-dozen agents had approached his committee regarding a controversial order from Attorney General Merrick Garland that authorized the FBI to begin monitoring parents who complained about what they viewed as inappropriate and divisive curriculum at local school board meetings.

Also, four of the six agents expressed concerns regarding the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol Building.

Jordan sent FBI Director Christopher Wray a letter at the time in which he warned that a number of agents had come forward with complaints including one agent who claimed that the bureau was “purging” staff with conservative points of view, the Examiner added.

Following the raid, Trump and Republicans put out statements condemning the Justice Department and the FBI for the unprecedented act.

“The are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform. “Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.”

“I’ve seen enough,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) added on Truth Social. “The Department of Justice has reached an intolerable state of weaponized politicization. When Republicans take back the House, we will conduct immediate oversight of this department, follow the facts, and leave no stone unturned. Attorney General Garland, preserve your documents and clear your calendar.”

“If I’m in the majority, and I’m chairman of the Judiciary Committee, again, I intend to pursue all of these things until we get to the bottom of it,” Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley said Saturday.
