Actress Jane Fonda, who will never be forgiven by many Vietnam War vets for parking herself on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun wearing a pith helmet during the waning years of the war, handing Hanoi a huge propaganda win, is turning heads again for a claim she just made regarding “climate change.”

Specifically, the “9 to 5” co-star said that were it not for “racism,” there’d be no climate change, either.

In an appearance recently on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Fonda, 85, was joined by her “80 for Brady” co-stars and discussed what motivated her to become a left-wing social activist.

“For me, it was learning about the Vietnam War,” “Hanoi Jane” said. “And when I really understood what that was about, I couldn’t not do anything except try to join the movement to stop it.”

“Well, you know, you can take anything — sexism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, whatever, the war,” the actress continued. “And if you really get into it, and study it and learn about it and the history of it and everything’s connected. There’d be no climate crisis if it wasn’t for racism,” she claimed.

Headlines showed up on Twitter Thursday regarding her comments, such as, “‘Everything is Connected’: Jane Fonda Links Climate Crisis to Racism,” “Jane Fonda Tries To Link Climate Crisis To Racism,” with people ripping her as a “disgrace” and more.

“This Hanoi Jane freak has no clue. ‘Everything is connected’ Jane Fonda links climate crisis to racism,” Juanita Broaddrick tweeted.

“Jane Fonda is insane,” Brigitte Gabriel added.

“Hanoi Jane is a disgrace to the United States of America! … We would not be talking about her today if she was not born into an acting family. And I don’t say that with humor; I say it with complete disdain and complete derision! Go away, Jane Fonda,” noted Fox News host Dagan McDowell.

“Hanoi Jane Fonda is whining about the weather from a climate-controlled building,” another person noted online. “She got there by flying on a plane, driving in a car, staying in an air-conditioned hotel, drinking plastic bottled water, and going through armed security. She doesn’t care about the climate.”

Fox Business host David Asman snarked, “It appears that Jane Fonda’s calling out John Kerry, Al Gore, and all the other jet-setting climate hypocrites for their ‘racism.’”

“Wow, thank you outnumbered on fox today they nailed it traitor Jane Fonda she needs to retire all the Vietnam veterans who died her horrible actions disservice to the United States. Go away, Jane,” another user wrote.
