Hunter Biden’s Book Couldn’t Sell 11k Copies in First Week Despite Fawning Media Coverage

Despite a massive publicity tour, including interviews with Jimmy Kimmel, CNN and CBS, Hunter Biden’s book couldn’t even reach 11,000 in sales in its first week.

Fox News reports:

“Beautiful Things: A Memoir” sold 10,638 copies last week, according to Publishers Weekly. The book finished behind 11 other hardcover nonfiction books. Amanda Gorman’s “The Hill We Climb: An Inaugural Poem for the Country,” sold 42,318 copies to finish atop the list.

Fox News host Shannon Bream’s new book, “The Women of the Bible Speak: The Wisdom of 16 Women and Their Lessons for Today,” sold 32,686 copies during the same timeframe to finish second.

Biden’s poor book sales come after he gave a controversial interview with CBS, where he admitted to smoking parmesan cheese because it looked like crack cocaine. Biden also admitted that the laptop from the bombshell story that circulated prior to the 2020 presidential election “could” be his.

“Of course certainly. It, it, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked. It could be that it was the — that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me,” he said.

Extortion, Bribery and Sex Trafficking: The Truth about Hunter Biden

A year-long Senate investigation into Hunter Biden’s foreign handlings concluded just 41 days before the election, leaving Republicans with some major leverage over Biden’s campaign.

The joint-report – led by the Senate Homeland and Government Affairs and Senate Finance Committees – concluded that Hunter Biden’s efforts to cash in on foreign business deals during his father’s vice presidency were known; they “raised alarm among U.S. government officials, who perceived an ethical conflict of interest and flagged concerns about possible criminal activity,” according to John Solomon from Just the News.

However, Obama administration officials ignored the red flags. Why?

Perhaps the most alarming discovery made by the U.S. Treasury Department were several flagged payments collected and dispensed by Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer, likely used in illicit activities.

The Suspicious Activity Reports identified millions of dollars in transactions between Hunter, the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings, a Russian oligarch named Yelena Baturina and Chinese businessmen with ties to Beijing’s communist government, the report said.

“The Treasury records acquired by the Chairmen show potential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals.”

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, the report discusses potential ties to sex and human trafficking rings: “Hunter Biden paid nonresident women who were nationals of Russia or other Eastern European countries and who appear to be linked to an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.”

“There is extensive public reporting concerning Hunter Biden’s alleged involvement with prostitution services. Records on file with the Committees do not directly confirm or refute these individual reports. However, they do confirm that Hunter Biden sent thousands of dollars to individuals who have either: 1) been involved in transactions consistent with possible human trafficking; 2) an association with the adult entertainment industry; or 3) potential association with prostitution. The records note that it is a documented fact that Hunter Biden has sent funds to nonresident alien women in the United States who are citizens of Russia and Ukraine and who have subsequently wired funds they have received from Hunter Biden to individuals located in Russia and Ukraine. The records also note that some of these transactions are linked to what ‘appears to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.”

Keep in mind, while Hunter Biden was off participating in these ventures, his father – current Democratic presidential nominee – was vice president of the United States.

According to Just the News, Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson discussed how “the sheer volume of suspicious activity in Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings left the Vice President vulnerable to illicit influence or extortion.”

“The report raises serious questions that former Vice President Biden needs to answer,” he said. “There are simply too many potential conflict of interest, counterintelligence and extortion threats to ignore,” he said.

As the presidential election quickly approaches, these findings will surely paint a different picture of the Biden family than what we once knew. When President Trump called for an investigation into Hunter Biden’s dealings with Burisma a year ago, Democrats refuted, claiming that the presented concerns were simply Russian disinformation.

But, the truth always comes out.

Ironically enough, while Hunter was galavanting in his illegal foreign escapades with Burisma, his father led “U.S. anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine,” according to Just the News. State official George Kent wrote several memos regarding Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma’s board, and was “so concerned that he canceled a partnership with Burisma, reported the bribe to the Justice Department and tried to raise concerns directly to Vice President Joe Biden, but was rebuffed.”

However, Kent wasn’t the only one to bring his concerns directly to Biden himself. To make matters even more complex, another senior State Department official, energy adviser Amos Hochstein, raised concerns with both Joe and Hunter Biden in 2015 regarding the risks at hand, but to no avail.

“The Obama administration knew that Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board was problematic and did interfere in the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine,” the report concluded. “Moreover, this investigation has illustrated the extent to which officials within the Obama administration ignored the glaring warning signs when the vice president’s son joined the board of a company owned by a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch.”

Hunter and Archer received more than $4 million from Burisma, but the generous sums didn’t stop there.

“In addition to over $4 million paid by Burisma for Hunter Biden’s and Archer’s board memberships, Hunter Biden, his family, and Archer received millions of dollars from foreign nationals with questionable backgrounds,” the report said.

Investigators flagged transactions in at least three other countries, according to Just the News:

• Archer received $142,000 from Kenges Rakishev of Kazakhstan, supposedly for a car, the same day Vice President Joe Biden appeared with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk to address Russia’s actions in Crimea
• Hunter received a wire transfer of $3.5 million from Elena Baturina, wife of former mayor of Moscow and Russia’s only female oligarch
• Hunter opened a joint bank account with Chinese national Gongwen Dong to fund a $100,000 global spending spree for the Biden family. Hunter Biden had businesses associations with Ye Jianming, Gongwen and other Chinese nationals linked to the communist government

With less than two months until the election, this information could not have come at a more critical time. Democrats will tirelessly refute the findings, but the evidence is crystal clear. And, the evidence came directly from the horse’s mouth, so to speak: Obama-Biden era files and witnesses.

Hunter Biden Report Bombshell: Biden Was Briefed About Son, Caused Problems In Obama White House

In a bombshell report, Fox News contributor Molly Hemingway explains Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has “not spoken accurately about his knowledge of his son’s involvement in Burisma” which apparently caused more of a headache for the Obama administration than has been expressed publicly.

“While this is focused on Hunter Biden and James Biden and other family members of Joe Biden, not Joe Biden himself, it is also true that Joe Biden was revealed to have not spoken accurately about his knowledge of his son’s involvement in Burisma, the Ukrainian energy concern,” Hemingway told Fox News.

The 87-page report states in “October 2015, senior State Department official Amos Hochstein raised concerns with Vice President Biden, as well as with Hunter Biden, that Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board enabled Russian disinformation efforts and risked undermining U.S. policy in Ukraine.”

Former vice president Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed he did not speak with his son about business and recently claimed: “He didn’t know about it when the report shows that in fact, some bureaucrats were so concerned about Hunter Biden’s role that they had briefed him, that they had alerted the FBI,” explained Hemingway.

Additionally, “it did cause a problem during the Obama Administration that there was this conflict of interest. It was not dealt with and we again are still awaiting answers as to exactly all the problems that it caused.” Hemingway added, “We saw a lot of people in the media claim that this is old news which was an interesting approach to take, given that they hadn’t reported any of this news beforehand and some of it was truly breaking news such as the wire transfer between the Russian oligarch who was married to the former mayor of Moscow, $3.5 million to Hunter Biden.”

Finally, Hemingway says the question must be asked: “Why were people paying him so much money? What did they get out of it? And why was this done for someone who really had no experience in any of these fields or any appreciable skills that would make sense for him doing business this way?” Naturally, Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said Wednesday the investigation is nothing more than pursuing a “conspiracy theory.”
