Tulsi Gabbard took Hillary Clinton’s best shots during the former Hawaii lawmaker’s 2020 run for the Democratic presidential nomination and never backed down one iota.
She has taken similar heat (she’s a ‘Russian dupe’) from RINO Mitt Romney and other figures as well simply because she refuses to toe the Donkey Party line and bend to its left-wing lunacy.
So it makes perfect sense she isn’t backing away from her allegation last week that Joe Biden isn’t really running the show at the White House — that he’s a “front man” for Barack Obama’s third term.
“I think it’s no surprise to know that it’s not just Obama, but it’s the whole Obama-Clinton machine that has been a machine that has been in power for a long time and continues to pull the strings behind the curtain in the Biden administration,” Gabbard told Fox News host Will Cain on Monday, doubling down on the same claim first made last week.
“But when we’re talking about this ‘Ministry of Truth’, Will, what’s even more disturbing than the fact that you have all these Democrats that are supporting it, is that there are powerful Republicans who are supporting it as well,” she continued.”There’s one in particular over the last couple of days who’s been very vocal on television about this, and I wanna read his direct quote because it was very disturbing to me.”
“He says, ‘This is an important function of the Department of Homeland Security, but they put the absolute wrong person in charge of it,'” she continued, going on to identify that person as Karl Rove, a Fox News analyst and former adviser to President George W. Bush.
“Now, Will, the problem here is not the person they put in charge of it,” Gabbard said of Nina Jankowicz, the official the administration has chosen to head up the new “Disinformation Governance Board.”
“The bigger problem here is the board itself. The bigger problem here is that, unfortunately, we have powerful Democrats and Republicans who are supporting this ‘Ministry of Truth,’ who do not believe in the Constitution and freedom of speech, who have no faith in the American people and are willing to put our taxpayer dollars towards this propaganda department, this ‘Ministry of Truth,'” Gabbard added.
“It’s something that belongs in a dictatorship, a ‘Ministry of Truth’ does not belong in the United States of America,” she concluded.
The American Wire notes further:
In a video posted earlier in the day, Gabbard went a little further into the matter related to the apparent bipartisan support of the so-called “Ministry of Truth” and asked where the condemnation was, from her own party in particular, on such dictatorial measures as clamping down on the God-given right of every American to freedom of speech and expression.
She then offered up the full text of the First Amendment with a reminder that Congress should review it.
“Democrats who say you’re against dictatorships, where are your voices condemning the Ministry of Truth? Even worse are Republicans who say such a propaganda board is needed but it should be headed by someone who’s not biased—not Jankowicz. They all need to read the Bill of Rights,” she noted in a tweet containing the video.
