Fauci Again Blasts Americans Opposed To Endless Mask Mandates, Jokes About 'Creating' COVID

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the elitist DC insider who has literally made his living off the U.S. taxpayer for the majority of his professional career, was again showing his disdain for arguably a majority of the country on Tuesday.

Fauci, who is currently serving as Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser and has led the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since Ronald Reagan’s first term, criticized Americans who are fed up with endless, worthless mask mandates as he and other members of the regime attempt to squeeze whatever remaining tyranny they can get out of the COVID pandemic.

During a talk Tuesday evening at an event hosted by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center campus in deep-blue Seattle, Fauci ripped as “inexplicable” Americans’ resistance to forced masking and getting a COVID vaccine that obviously does not work as advertised, given the number of infections among the vaccinated population.

“When you tell people they need to mask in an indoor congregate setting when you’re in a zone that has a high dynamic of infection — that is looked upon by a lot of people, not everybody, as an encroachment on your freedom,” Fauci said.

“We’ve never had that before,” he added. “It’s almost inexplicable.”

Actually, America was founded on principles of individual freedom and liberty; what we hadn’t had before was a top-down, bureaucracy (not science) driven slate of mandates that curbed our personal choices and behaviors before the pandemic — mandates that included choking off our means to earn a living, in many cases.

So what Fauci and the Washingtonian class fed by tax dollars are really angry about is the resistance to their mandates, not the mandates themselves.

Prior to those remarks regarding mask mandates, Fauci also complained that while most Americans have gotten a COVID vaccine, a majority have not gotten a booster (because they don’t seem to work as advertised).

“You have people who don’t want to get vaccinated for any of a variety of reasons, ranging from pure anti-vax to just because we’re telling them to get vaccinated,” Fauci said. “We’re in a very difficult situation.”

“We have 67% of our population vaccinated. Of those, one-half are boosted. That means a third of the people in the country are vaccinated and properly boosted,” Fauci went on. “How could that possibly be when you have a disease that’s killed one million Americans and you have a hesitancy to use a life-saving intervention, which is a vaccine and a booster?

“It seems like — what world are we living in?” he asked.

Great question, doc. Tens of millions of Americans have been asking you that same question now for two years.

At the same event, Fauci and his hosts also joked about “gain of function” research, which he has been accused of funding — credibly — by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

“We’re at the epicenter of the initial outbreak, WA1, Washington 1 is considered the ancestral model strain,” said Dr. Larry Corey, a colleague and professor in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease division at The Hutch.

“No, I developed the ancestral model strain,” Fauci responded as the host and the audience laughed. “I created it.”

“That’s right. You let it loose,” Corey said.

Fauci interjected, “I was in my kitchen and I…”

“Okay. Gain of function, here we come,” laughed Corey, quipping further that Fauci whipped it up along with Italian meatballs.

Ha ha. So funny.
