Facebook Says Any Content “In the Voice of President Trump” is Not Allowed on its Platforms

Facebook censored an interview of President Trump, claiming that any content “in the voice of President Trump is not currently allowed on our platforms…”

The video in question was an interview between the former president and his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump.

Facebook issued a warning message stating the content will be removed and result in “additional limitations on accounts that posted it.”

Eric Trump posted a screenshot of the message from Facebook on his Twitter account and wrote, “What an absolute slap in the face to 75 million Americans.”

Breitbart reports:

According to the message, the Facebook representative reached out to the Trumps after Lara Trump announced her upcoming interview with President Trump, warning them that the interview would be censored if posted on the platform.

“Content posted on Facebook and Instagram in the voice of President Trump is not currently allowed on our platforms (including new posts with President Trump speaking) and will be removed if posted, resulting in additional limitations on accounts that posted it.”

The representative added that the restriction applies to all campaign accounts and “former surrogates” like Lara Trump.

Facebook, along with Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, and a number of other major tech platforms permanently banned President Trump while he was still in office in January.

Facebook Official: Zuckerberg is “Ruler of 2 Billion People,” Company Should be Broken Up

A top Facebook official was caught on undercover camera saying that the tech company has become too powerful and should be broken up.

A Project Veritas video released yesterday shows Facebook’s Global Planning Lead, Benny Thomas, expressing his concerns over CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s level of power.

“I would break up Facebook, which means I would make less money probably, but I don’t care. Like, that’s what needs to be done. Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Oculus, WhatsApp, they all need to be separate companies. It’s too much power when they’re all one together,” Thomas said in the video.

“Most people don’t understand these things and most people don’t think about them, which is why a lot of [expletive] goes down because a lot of people aren’t paying attention.”

“No king in the history of the world has been the ruler of two billion people, but Mark Zuckerberg is and he’s 36. That’s too much for a 36-year-old. You should not have power over two billion people. I just think that’s wrong,” Thomas continued.

“He [Zuckerberg] owns a controlling stake in the company. So, you can’t do it the usual way that you do it in corporate, which is the board can just fire you, right? The board can’t do that to Zuck. The board can’t do that to Larry Page and Sergey Brin [Google] because they own too much of the company. They’re too powerful. So, these are not companies anymore. These are countries,” he said.

Thomas also said he was part of a voter registration drive through Facebook, where they registered 4.5 million voters and that he thinks it helped Biden win the 2020 race.

“One of the things I worked on, which made me happy, was a voter registration drive. These are the kinds of things – this is the good side of Facebook. This is the kind of thing that you can only do with a company that has the sheer scale and reach of Facebook. We set ourselves a goal of registering four million new people and we went over that target, we did 4.5 [million],” he said.

The undercover Project Veritas journalist replied, “I’m pretty sure he [Biden] won that way. What do you think?” To which Thomas replied “Exactly, I think so, too.”

Facebook Was Used More Than Any Other Platform To Organize Jan 6th Riot, So Why Was Parler Deplatformed

According to the Department of Justice charging documents, Facebook was used more than any other social media site when it came to organizing the Jan. 6 riots, yet Parler was deplatformed for this reason.

Daily Caller reports:

The Program on Extremism at George Washington University has collected the indictments of 223 people who have been charged for participating in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, which caused five deaths and temporarily delayed the certification of President Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory.

Facebook was used by 73 of the people charged with crimes, more than all other social media sites combined, according to a Forbes analysis.

Forbes reported that Parler was only used by eight people that were charged yet they were taken down from Amazon Web Services (AWS) who hosted their platform along with being removed from Apple and Google’s app stores.

According to the Washington Post, Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg passed blame to Parler and Gab saying, “I think these events were largely organized on platforms that don’t have our abilities to stop hate, don’t have our standards and don’t have our transparency.”
