Disney Goes Woke Again With Cartoon Pushing For 'Reparations' and Claims 'Slaves Built This Country'

The Walt Disney Co. is refusing to learn from past mistakes when it comes to forcing “woke” content on its audience, this time in the form of an episode from a Disney+ cartoon series mentioning “reparations.”

The episode of “Proud Family” featured children singing a song about reparations and how America today “owes” to black Americans. The song also claims, incorrectly, that “slaves built this country.”

The recently aired episode, titled “Louder and Prouder,” reviews the Juneteenth history as the kids find out that the founder of the town was a slave owner. The song opens, “This country was built on slavery — which means slaves built this country” — the line being repeated over and over.

“We the descendants of slaves in America have earned reparations for their suffering,” the song continued. “And continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for.”

The Daily Wire noted: “In the cartoon, that last line was punctuated by four black students glaring while the only white student on the stage with them held a sign that read ‘still has not atoned for.'”

“Slaves built this country,” the kids shouted again, claiming, “We made your families rich,” going on to list plantation owners, northern bankers, New England ship-owners, the Founding Fathers, and current senators.

The cartoon also featured an image of the debunked, “Hands up, don’t shoot,” theme that stemmed from the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, Missouri.

“Imagine paying money to Disney to teach your kids to hate themselves and hate their country,” Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec tweeted.

This is a scene from a Disney+ kids cartoon called The Proud Family Blatant anti-white propaganda,” @endwokeness tweeted.

The Daily Wire’s co-CEO Jeremy Boreing took the occasion to remind his online followers that DW Kids is in the works. “DW Kids is coming. Not soon enough,” he wrote.

In November, Disney fired then-CEO Bob Chapek after he went full-on woke with the company and cost shareholders billions.

The entertainment behemoth replaced him with former CEO Bob Iger, 71, after Chapek’s tenure was marred by falling stock values, bleeding profits, and an insane pivot to ‘woke’ left-wing content that alienated core audiences.

“We thank Bob Chapek for his service to Disney over his long career, including navigating the company through the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic,” Disney Chairman Susan Arnold said in a statement, the Daily Wire reported.

“The company was also criticized for featuring a lesbian kiss in kids’ movie ‘Lightyear,’ showing a transgender man purchasing tampons in a TV series, and emphatically embracing the trend of Environmental, Social, and Governance, a strategy that courts investors by promoting a host of woke values within the corporate structure,” the outlet said.

The outlet added: “Disney stock has fallen over 40% over the last year amid an ailing economy. It’s woes have been blamed on a series of decisions that have alienated its family-minded and in many cases, conservative, customer base. The company clashed bitterly with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over a law that prohibits public schools from teaching kids below the fourth grade about sexual orientation and radical gender theory.”

Apparently, not much has changed yet under Iger.
