Insane Liberal Canadian Politician Thinks "Honk Honk" Means "Heil Hitler"

A Canadian Liberal MP said that the term popularized by pro-freedom truckers is actually a coded term and an “acronym” that stands for Heil Hitler.

According to Toronto-area Member of Parliament Ya’ara Saks, “Honk Honk” actually stands for “Heil Hitler,” and that is why people insist on using it.

“How many guns need to be seized? How much vitriol do we have to see of ‘Honk Honk’ which is a new acronym of “Heil Hitler”? What do we need to see by these protesters on social media?” Saks said.

It is of note that Saks is misidentifying what an acronym is. The word she meant to say was “code”.

Saks also completely disregards the possibility that it could just be an onomatopoeia of the sound that trucks and Canadian geese make.

The reason for this, is due to Honk Honk starting with HH, which is often used by some white supremacists to mean “Heil Hitler,” or, sometimes “88” as H is the eighth letter in the alphabet.

Saks would later double down on her assertion, retweeting a thread by an Antifa activist that reads:

“It’s easy to miss nazi/’alt-right’ signifiers are if you aren’t swimming in this cesspool all the time. So this is going to be a running thread on what to watch for, with a special emphasis on vocabulary and symbols that should make you suspicious.

“Let’s start with a classic and a new variant: 88 and “HH” phrases like “honk honk.” They mean “heil Hitler.” H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, thus 88. “Honk honk” is associated with the honkler and is often used “ironically” by alt-right trolls.”
